Description
The Givi replacement windscreen measures 22.4 inches (570mm) tall x 18.9 inches (480mm) wide approximately 7.1 inches (18cm) taller than the original windscreen.
*The black rubber edging pictured on the bottom screen on this page is no longer included with this Givi windscreen. All windscreens shipped from our warehouse DO NOT have black rubber edging. Instead the edge of the screen is the smooth cut edge of the screen itself.
This windscreen is very similar in shape to the MRA Extra-Tall TouringScreen for the V-Strom ’04-.
Fits on the bike with or without original Suzuki hand guards Barkbusters Storm hand guards and Barkbusters VPS hand guards.

Have been using the new screen to replace the stock screen for a little over a month now. It has made a dramatic difference to the bike. I must say that it still hasnt removed buffetting 100%. It is much much better, but still there. I now get a swirl behind my head which can vibrate my eyes to the point of blurred vision at 100km and up. I am thinking the Mad Stad mount will be required to push it up even higher. I install this on a 2007 vstrom DL1000 and I am 6’3″ all.

I had actually purchased one of these GIVI windshields two years ago for my 650 v-strom and I loved it. Much taller and wider than the original screen. In the process of adjusting the height I damaged the head of a couple of screws and cracked the screen.Needless to say, I replaced it with the same screen.

I am very pleased with the fitment and look of the new crash bars. I was able to fit them myself with out too much difficulty even though I am no mechanic.

I’ve mounted the Givi Windscreen on my Suzuki DL650 V-Strom with the MadStad Adjustable Windshield Mount bracket. The wind protection takes the blast away from the chest and top of the helmet and using the mounting bracket allows enough air flow to remain comfortable her in the Arizona heat.

This shield is big. It blocks nearly all wind. You will be looking through it all the time. It will be good on long distance rides. Good quality!

The windshield and the bracket I bought fit perfectly. It does what it said it would do and is of good quality. I am still adjusting it, but adjustments are easy; as advertised, and improve the enjoyment of the bike
