Note:
This product was originally designed only for use on the F650GS which does NOT come with handguards.

The product may also be used on the F650GS/Dakar; however BMW’s original handguards for the F650GS/Dakar model may come in contact with the Givi D331ST windshield when the handlebars are turned to “full lock”. Removal of the original BMW handguards or modification of the windshield may be required to avoid contact between the two parts when installed on the “Dakar” version of the bike.

The standard BMW F650GS does not come with handguards from the factory; therefore no modifications are required to install the Givi D331ST windshield on this bike.
