Shortened 1-In. Sidestand | Kawasaki KLR650 ’08-’11 & KLR650 ’14-’18

All hardware needed to mount the sidestand is included. Installs using basic hand tools. No welding cutting or drilling of existing frame or body parts required. Tough powdercoated black finish. Designed to work with OEM components – we cannot assure fit with aftermarket exhausts or other accessories. Sidestand bolt is larger for those model years but can be made to fit with some drilling.

Useful Installation Notes:

These two arrows illustrate the points on the kick stand mounting tab. This is where the two locating prongs on the cover for the kickstand position sensor snap in. These two prongs snap into the kick stand mounting tab on the KLR. The purpose of this cover is protect the kickstand position sensor. Use a 10 mm socket to remove the retaining bolt from this protective cover. Then pull the cover straight back to remove and the position sensor and the protective cover.
