The cost was a bit steep, but I really try to be sure that my bike is stable whenever/wherever I leave it on the side stand. I’ve watched other riders hunt for cans, rocks, and other debris. Too risky for me. And I don’t like plastic pads.

This is a great addition to my 2015 V-Strom 650. It adds very little thickness to the foot so it really doesn’t change the lean over angle. It keeps the foot from sinking into hot asphalt and it looks great on the bike.

A small but functional item. When you live in the boonies, and all you have is soggy grass, you don’t want your precious bike to fall over due to the kickstand sinking into the ground. With this handy dandy enlarger, there is much less sinkage.

Doubles the footprint of OEM kickstand. I no longer worry about warm asphalt or gravel driveways when parking. You can feel the difference. Sure, a plate will work just fine, but this is hassle-free for life of the bike. It looks good, high quality build, and does not interfere with any controls, etc…
Easy to install, but you do need an allen wrench and lock-tite to complete the install. Simply screw three screws to join the two plates and you’re done.
