Description

All hardware needed to mount the centerstand included. Typically installs using basic hand tools. No welding cutting or drilling of existing frame or body parts required. Tough black powdercoated finish with some gray fittings or hardware as applicable. A double-retention spring is included as a safety feature to prevent the centerstand from contacting pavement if one of the two springs should fail during a ride. Designed to work with OEM components — we cannot assure fit with aftermarket exhausts or other accessories.

ONLY for models with single-sided swingarm:

Special Note: We do not recommend installing centerstands on bikes with a lowered rear suspension because use on a lowered bike may result in:

  • Ground clearance & cornering clearance problems
  • Difficulty in lifting the lowered bike onto the centerstand

    Solid center stand

I purchased this SW Motech centerstand for my 03 Daytona 955i. The install was time consuming, but with solid well fitted hardware. The instructions were clear and well illustrated, but required some good looks to see the subtle differences between the different bolts and plates to install correctly.

Once installed it is a solid easy to use center stand that is great for parking and maintenance. I highly recommend.

    A Very Useful addition

Purchased about 3 weeks ago. It was a fairly simple installation although the instructions could have been a little clearer by SW Motech. Fit like a glove but too bad Triumph didn’t think to put a grab handle of some type on the bike to aid in lifting when using the stand.

Lifesaver on my 06 Speed Triple

I have had this SW-MOTECH center stand installed on my 06 Speed Triple for almost 2 years now. I have it installed along with the stock side stand. I appreciate how the center stand is not very noticeable, and the ground clearance has never given me any problems unless I have excessively low air pressure and run over a speed bump (its a low pressure warning system!). With the center stand, I have torn down the front end (strapping down the rear wheel) for fork oil changes, front tire replacement, brake work, etc. I have removed/replaced the rear tire, rear shock, etc. and it has gone incredibly easy because of the stand. I consider it a must have.

    On a 2006 Speed Triple

Installed this center stand over a year ago and it’s been a life saver. I don’t really notice it’s there and it has helped me through tire changes, front end tear-downs (strapping down the rear tire (be safe!)), chain lubes, rear shock tuning and adjustment and the list goes on. Good clearance in turns and the only time I ever had it hit bottom was when I developed a persistent leak in my rear tire and the tire pressure was absurdly low (I clunked on a few speed bumps at low speed – no damage to the center stand at all). The stand is very well built and the double spring keeps it hugging the bottom of my swing arm. I highly recommend this product!
