Description
All hardware needed to mount the centerstand included. Typically installs using basic hand tools. No welding cutting or drilling of existing frame or body parts required. Tough black powdercoated finish with some gray fittings or hardware as applicable. A double-retention spring is included as a safety feature to prevent the centerstand from contacting pavement if one of the two springs should fail during a ride. Designed to work with OEM components — we cannot assure fit with aftermarket exhausts or other accessories.
Same as the SW-MOTECH centerstand made for Wudo Germany.
Special Note: We do not recommend installing centerstands on bikes with a lowered rear suspension because use on a lowered bike may result in:
- Ground clearance & cornering clearance problems
- Difficulty in lifting the lowered bike onto the centerstand

Dakar –
I installed my new centre stand with a little bit of leverage work to get the 2 bolts in.
What I really noticed immediately was the ease of putting the Dakar up on the new centre stand, compared to the original; half the effort!
So a definite design improvement.
My order was handled smoothly and delivered in less than a week.

Grizz –
Stand was easy to install one side at a time, no spring pulling, no jamming coins. Just a little bit of leverage and a second pair of hands.

Two bolts/nuts and two springs, some grease, and you’re done. Much easier than the install of the OEM unit on my Triumph Street Twin.
Function is pretty good. I have the 2012 Sertao, which has pretty long travel suspension and a seat height of about 34″. I’m not sure if the high seat and ride height cause this, but it does take a pretty good tug to get it up on the stand. And the placement of the lever you step in is a bit awkward – immediately underneath the passenger footpeg. But once you get used to it, no problem. It’s completely stable on the stand, more so than any other bike I’ve had.

Works pretty well with the bike. Easy to install.
* It does fit a 2007 Dakar.

I love this stand. I had one on my old Dakar, so when I bought the Sertâo I immediately ordered one for it. Installation is straightforward. It took me under 15 minutes and required nothing but a little grease for the bushings, a dab of Locktite for each bolt, a socket, and an allen wrench. As long as you attach the springs before trying to attach the stand itself, no spring pullers or special tools are needed. Fit is perfect with no interference with the sidestand. Workmanship and materials quality is second to none. Chain and tire maintenance are now a breeze with no lift required. In addition to that, everybody knows how far these bikes lean over on the sidestand. Standing the bike up straight makes mounting/dismounting and loading/unloading side cases much easier. Highly, highly, highly recommended.
