    Nice Product

I must admit, after reading the reviews I was a bit hesitate about ordering these. But I’m glad I did! I ran a 5 hour trip using them. They did an excellent job. They cut wind noise down substantially. No, they didn’t eliminate the wind noise, but it was subdued enough to make a BIG difference, while still allowing sound from my helmet communicator to be loud and clear. I could actually hear my music at speeds that simply were not possible without them. I also engaged in several phone calls with adaolutely no problem. Try that with foam earplugs! At lower speeds I couldn’t tell much difference at all. Now don’t get me wrong, you could tell you had something in your ears, and it was not as clear as if you didn’t have them in. But come on, you have ear plugs in, there is going to be a little difference. But not much. They did however cut wind noise down to a very, very comfortable level. I’m rocking the Shoei GT Air helmet, which is fairly good at knocking down wind noise but these ear plugs really helped. I had NO problems removing them as a lot of reviews reflected. I had someone approach me at a gas stop to talk. I could actually carry on a conversation with no problems My only regret is I didn’t buy them sooner! I absolutely love them and they function as advertised. Nice Product.

    Expensive but worth it

Bought over winter and had a chance to use it during the warm Vancouver winter. Overall miles above the cheap foam plugs that you get from the drugstore. The material is soft and pliant i.e. very comfy. Blocks wind noise and retains some of the engine noise. The holder can be used as a keychain . This is the Arai of earplugs.

    Really work

These plugs really do the job. They are much easier to insert then traditional foam plugs that take time to expand for full efficiency. These plugs are perfect the second you insert them. They should last a very long time and are washable.

    Good NR and convenience

First, in terms of noise reduction, this set doesn’t work as well as compared to my westone musicians series custom fit ear plug that I got through my ENT doctors. But, at least for my ears, no noise ear plugs provided sufficient noise protection for a relatively short ride on highway.
The no noise ear plug is also much easier to put on and take off. When putting on and taking off the helmet, my westone ear plugs usually were in the way of helmet movement and hence likely to be pushed out of the ears. Therefore, I only ride with westone if I know I will be riding for at least 30 mins on the highway. But for any trip shorter than that, I will stick to no noise ear plugs.
Of cause lastly, it is much less expensive ($30 vs. more than $150 for the custom made ear plugs).
