Question: Should I get the music version or a different one for using in conjunction with my Sena? I listen to music and chat with my friends.
Answer:
It is hard to recommend earplugs for specific use cases, because everyone's ears are different based on past damage and anatomy. This model will work well for your application, but I can't advise if the Music model would work any better or worse.

    Looks nice, sounds loud

I bought these because they were written up as some of the best. I was so disappointed to find out that cheapo foam plugs work so much better. Don’t waste your money on these.

Very disappointing. They only come in one size, which is too small for my ears. They don’t fit tight at all, and so are completely worthless. I have other brands’ ear plugs, and they all come in at least 3 sizes.

    not worth it

I bought a set based on these reviews, but dropped them after about 20 minutes. Way too noisy. Much more noisy that my foam ear plugs, and I wasn’t even up to highway speeds yet. One of my ear canals is a little larger, and I almost lost the piece in my ear! Took about 10 minutes to dig it out.

The earplugs have been revised to have a 1mm larger diameter outermost “cone”. This helps them not “get lost” within the ear for folks with larger ear canals, but keeps them comfy for folks with smaller ear canals. This chance was specifically for customers having experiences like yours.

    Had to try

68 ys young. Riding honda vfr. Been riding bikes since 1962. These are not as effective as good old foam plugs from Walgreens. Only block maybe 75% of what I consider strictly bad wind noise. Did not try on my goldwing but its not noisy anyway. The vfr is very noisy. Lots of helmet buffeting etc. Guess its like a tourist trap that you know is just gonna take your money, but like a moth your forever enticed to the flame.

The ear plugs work fine. The problem for me is that the ‘stem’ is not long enough. I had real problems removing them. It may be my ear canal is to long.

    Ear Plugs Stuck

    hojo747

There are no string to pull these out with and when I used them, I had to have someone pull them out for me with tweezers.

    mostly hype

    noisy

Could not understand intercom conversations with plugs in due to wind noise. Could not remove from ear without tweezers due to stem being too short
