    Below Average in general

Purchased the matching set front and rear and expected much better quality for the price. I was not 100% sure from the start after having read really bad reviews about these tires everywhere on the web. Lucky for me I did not loose chucks of rubber.
Style and type of riding is everything so to be clear, 3000kms on the tires, 50% pavement and 50% logging roads on a 2015 DR650 (Suzuki) so not a heave weight. Factory tire inflation 22psi front and 25psi rear. (Some recommend psi in the 30 range for the Mefo, frankly on a bike around 370 Lbs I didn’t feel any difference.)
So the result: uneven tire wear on front, noisy, cupping front and rear, 40% wear after 3000kms, big chunks cut out of lugs on tread from rocks, and not really good on pavement or gravel. Over all performance was inferior to a cheaper chinese tire. Having run Shinko 705 on an identical bike, on identical conditions and at the same time and same riding style, I have to say the Shinko 705 out performed the Mefo and performed better on pavement and on gravel. So not really impressed If you are in mud or dirt go more aggressive tread pattern and if you do 50/50 don’t bother with this tire, there are better out there. This one isn’t worth the premium dollars.

    Great dualsport touring tire

    Andy

So far 2500 highway miles with very little wear. Great off road and good on road, a little loud compared to a street tire.
