  1. Hi can you please tell me the estimated mileage for this ride?

    1. Approximately 140 miles. Complete the Cherokee Challenge form to download the gpx file.

  2. I’m a first-time attendee at MMM .. can you tell me what all the Cherokee Challenge consist of?

    1. The Cherokee Challenge is a motorcycle ride through the Smokey Mountains on a pre-determined route. You have two days to complete the challenge. You will prove your success by snapping a photo at two different check points along the way. Once you get back to camp, visit the Twisted Throttle tent and present your photos. You will then be entered into a drawing for a grand prize provided by Twisted Throttle. To register for the challenge simply fill out the form and stop by the Twisted tent to check in and get your limited edition Cherokee Challenge number plate sticker. Hope to see you this weekend!

  3. I can’t seem to get the gpx file page to open. I’ve probably registered 10 times because it’s the only way to get to the gpx file page. Can you.please tell me if I’m registered and if so possibly send me the gpx file in an email? Thankyo.and I’m looking forward to the ride.

    1. The original gpx file was corrupt. Please use this link to sign up and download the gpx file one more time: http://blog.twistedthrottle.com/2017-cherokee-challenge-route-map-pre-registration/

If you run into any issues downloading the new file, please let us know.

  4. I see no difference in the Cherokee Challenge track downloaded on the 14 of March and today, 18 March??????

    1. Some riders were having issues downloading the gpx file the first time. The route is no different, just a different link. If you have already downloaded the gpx file without issue, you are all set.

  5. I don’t have a GPS for my bike. is there an app for my phone that I can download this file too? or will a printed out route sheet be available when we check in? Last year they didn’t have any printed sheets.
    Thank you

    1. No problem, Joe. This year we will be providing paper print out route sheets at the Twisted Throttle tent. See you soon!

      1. Will they be in roll chart form?

        1. Yes, there will be a check in sheet at the Twisted tent.
